peyton + kara + and a photographer.

Last week, our photographer Tiffani Evans Photo teased us with this picture...and let me tell you, after that, I was glued to every device connected to the internet. You know...waiting ever so patiently for more of our engagement pictures to come back. Folks, patiently is the key word in that sentence. That's the least amount of patience I have had in a long time...at least until this week.
Because patience no longer exists in my vocabulary.  I am SO ready to marry my first true and forever love in just 3 looooonnnggg short days. In the meantime, let me just tell you about our photographer Tiffani...she is AMAZING!

Loving on Peyton isn't an issue for me and loving on me is definitely not an issue for him.  We hug. We kiss. We hold hands. All. The. Time. There is no personal bubble for us and we wouldn't have it any other way.  Public display of affection doesn't phase us one bit. We are in love and we are about to get married. I am going to kiss that boy all I want.
Tiffani is based out of the Queen City- Charlotte, North Carolina- and I happened to find her as a recommendation from another photographer that was booked during our wedding.  There is no doubt in my mind that we hit the jackpot when I found her.  She is so sweet, so caring, so loving, and made our two hour engagement session fly by. We weren't ready to let her travel back to Charlotte...that's for sure!
There are a couple of things that I especially love about Tiffani. She traveled to us...no issues what-so-ever, no questions asked. She asked us where we wanted our engagement photos taken and we immediately knew that we wanted them around his family's home. In 2009, Peyton and I spent most of our summer riding around the golf cart exploring this property. Today, we help his parents tend the garden and upkeep the land.  We love the land and most of our memories are here. This is home for us.
We have a passion for the land and a love for our family backgrounds. Agriculture is important to us.  Hard work and physical labor are part of our daily lives. We appreciate the land and in return it loves our family just as much.  Tiffani saw that and captured nature with such beautiful technique.  Her talent for natural light photography is just so simple and real.  I seriously could go on for days about it.

She was even willing to be a little adventurous with us.  You see, there is a pond and we wanted pictures in it. Fully clothed. I think she thought we were joking when we told her...but then she saw our faces and realized we weren't. She was excited to try something new and wasn't afraid of any challenge. She captured our personalities and true love for each other, even when we get a little goofy.
The love that this boy has for me and the love I have for him is so strong. Some people say that you have to date for years before you truly know someone, but two months was enough for me. I knew I wanted to marry this boy five years ago...but the timing just wasn't right. That's what makes our love story so beautiful. They say if you love something, set it free, and if it comes back, then it was meant to be.  Nothing more truer could be said for Peyton and I.  We always wondered about each other and somehow, the good Lord let us find each other again.  Our love is founded in Christ and we strive to make each other happy every single day. It's what makes our love beautiful...and we couldn't be more excited to start our lives together.
"We love because He first loved us."
